    Paradigm Shift provides provocative answers to two very difficult questions. Could anything end faith-based conflict in our time? And- what would happen if we were confronted with life from another world? Paradigm Shift - Return of the Angels is the story of a man who sets out to answer the first question by asking the second. This action/thriller follows Hank Foster as he launches an attack against faith by staging an elaborate UFO hoax, and unwittingly sets into motion a chain of events, which bring an extraordinary threat to humanity.
    Thirty-five-year-old Hank Foster, a former Special Forces soldier still reeling over the loss of his leg, is recruited into a clandestine organization- Impatient with the movement's slow progress, Hank subverts the powerful organization and uses their vast network to perpetrate a hoax he feels will rock the world.
    The hoax succeeds beyond his wildest dreams, triggering a series of events, which bring a real extraterrestrial presence into the open. Earth is rocked by a catastrophe on a level never before imagined, and humanity is confronted by the prospect of alien invasion. Hank discovers a conspiracy as old as time itself. He learns he is responsible for the calamity facing humanity, and what's more, he learns he is the one man capable of exposing the truth that may lead to mankind's salvation.
    On its exterior, Paradigm Shift engages the reader with a visual, Hollywood-styled blockbuster, but on a deeper, psychological level, the reader is swept along the hero's journey to ultimately confront the true nature of humanity. Please do not be fooled by the religious title and theme, this is not a religious work. The themes are more philosophical than theological, and are viewed through the lens of an action/thriller. Emphasis has been shifted from the technology defining most science fiction, to focus on the broader issues raised by alien contact. The polemic arguments attack the current paradigm of understanding with a broad spectrum of evidence and theory. From Renaissance era paintings depicting flying saucers and Biblical scripture describing aliens as angels, to careful analysis of the psychology and history behind our beliefs, Paradigm Shift weaves together a dramatic story with depth and meaning.
    Paradigm Shift - Return of the Angels will thrill readers who enjoy vivid storytelling, realistic characters, and well crafted, meaningful plot elements. Harry S.
